JOURNEYMAN MILLWRIGHT

We are currently hiring for a Journeyman Millwright to work on the afternoon shift. Please see below for more details:

Job Duties:

• Assist in the preventative and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

• Perform and help grow our Preventative maintenance program

• Assist with mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics including PLC’s

• Read and interpret drawings, machine parts from a sketch, sample or plans.

• Install, move and modify equipment as required.

• Follow all maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory codes while always maintaining a safe work environment.

• Continue to upgrade skills on an ongoing basis.

• Document all works carried out through our CMMS system.

Job Requirements:

• Red Seal ticketed Millwright, Tool and Die maker, Machine Tool Builder, or Industrial Mechanic.

• 5 years post qualification experience is required.

• Familiar with mechanics, machine shop practices (lathe & milling machines), with basic welding skills (ARC, TIG, MIG) and electrical experience

Work Environment:

• Monday - Friday PM shift

• Wage up to $45 with shift premiums and incentive
