Hanford Mission Integration Solutions Technical Specialist (39660) in Richland, Washington
Job Duties/Scope Of Work The Technical Specialist will perform oversight and have Buyer Technical Representative (BTR) responsibility for the Subcontract for Pre-Award Proposal Audits and Accounting System Reviews performed by external audit firms in accordance with Global Audit standards and HMIS policies and procedures. Essential job duties of this position include but are not limited to: •Perform technical evaluations in support of the execution of the subcontract. •Perform technical reviews of the work papers in accordance with the subcontract terms and conditions including, milestones and deliverables and Global Audit Standards. •Ensure subcontractors meet the milestones and deliverables outlined in subcontract. •Ensure payments are made in accordance with milestone and deliverables. •Responsible for contract change requests (CCR's) as needed in collaboration with the Audit Director. •Document the external audit firms work paper(s) and audit report(s) in Teammate+ audit program for pre-award proposal audits and/or accounting system reviews. •Prepare teammate+ audit file and request management (audit manager or Director) review prior to issuing the audit report. •Coordinate issuance of audit report with Audit Director for final signature and provide to Executive Assistance for issuance in E-Docs. •Upload external audit firms' findings into issue tracking within Teammate+ for metrics and issue resolution for proposal audit and/or accounting system review. •Upload Accounting System review results into Database shared by the Other Hanford Contractors. •Assist with annual or subcontractor incurred cost audits as needed. •Collaborate with the Other Hanford Contractors on the pre-award dashboard. Basic Qualifications • Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting or related field and a minimum of 6 years of related experience. • Knowledge of the Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS). Desired Qualifications • Experience with Teammate+ or other audit software. • Experience with government regulations (FAR, DEAR, FTR, etc.).
