GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general supervision and acting on own initiative, performs advanced administrative duties for Plant General Manager (PGM) and direct reports including Operations, Radiation, and Chemistry, Maintenance and PSO. Requires detailed knowledge of company operations, organization procedures and personnel. Within established guidelines makes independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling work. Exercises discretion and independent judgment and is capable of analyzing complex information requests, determining complex trends and conflicting demands, and make recommendations to management. Demonstrates extensive interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management, company employees, suppliers and customers using our core values as a guide. May act as a coordinator for special projects. May prepare and administer budgets; lead meetings; and provide training.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide administrative support to the PGM and any direct reports in areas including but not limited to the following:
Attend Meetings
Record list of actions taken from meetings
Prepare meeting agendas.
Assemble package for Core Business Meetings and direct reports.
Action Tracking. Review AR/CR Report daily to ensure AR assignments are completed on time.
Provide reports/reminders to department personnel to ensure timely closure of AR actions.
Read/respond to correspondence.
Works with General Manager and direct reports to monitor and maintain department budgets.
Administrator for department purchase card. Includes tracking and authorization of payments and purchases [e.g. department safety shoe, safety glasses, uniforms, and support material]. Monthly reconciliation of department purchase card.
Administer travel program for the department, ensuring compliance with company policy and practices on booking and expense reimbursement.
Enroll personnel in training databases, as necessary.
Obtain, analyze, and act upon feedback from customers/suppliers to enhance communication among management, employees, and outside agencies. This activity requires expertise with interpersonal relationship skills, in particular when dealing with outside agencies whose actions have a definite impact on our success or failure.
Assist in obtaining access to Energy Northwest for contractors, visitors, etc. Support in-processing efforts, including performing in-processing functions through SSIS.
In collaboration with managers and supervisors, assist with the preparation and processing of contracts.
Identify critical and urgent issues, designing and implementing administrative policies, training, and information flow. Identify and correct work/material inefficiencies/deficiencies.
Support gas and fuel monitoring and ordering. Submissions of quarterly diesel fuel report.
Material requests and contract change requests as necessary.
Operations TAG administrative support.
FFD coordination and notifications
Submit records as necessary.
Function as a proactive team player with all administrative assistants, executive assistants and all management. Plan and participate in combined management/organization workshops to promote team, core values and communications. Generate and present ideas for improvements. Assist in executing new ideas and suggestions. Promote and encourage performance management development, implementation, and celebrations throughout Energy Northwest through creative ideas, better communications and continuous feedback.
Perform as a member of an Emergency Response Team (ERO) and in an outage assignment, when directed.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of seven years of progressive administrative experience, including leadership responsibilities and independent decision-making authority.

Pay Range:
$61,874 - $92,810 Annual
Midpoint:
$77,342
This position is salary, non-exempt in which the successful candidate would receive overtime for any hours worked over 40 hours in a pay week. The salary would be offered within the range stated above.
Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
