About our Cardiovascular Labs : Our 5 labs Incorporate Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology, Endovascular Surgery, and Electrophysiology services. We offer a full array of Diagnostic & Interventional procedures in state of the art imaging suites, including our Hybrid OR which is utilized for TAVRs, AAA repairs, Carotid interventions, and other "hybrid" type procedures. Kadlec is a nationally accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, Washington State Designated Level 1 Comprehensive Cardiac Center, and Blue Cross Blue Shield Association "Cardiac Care Center of Excellence." Kadlec is the only hospital in the region that can treat heart attacks by immediately opening the artery with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) while having Open Heart Surgery backup onsite. This position is in our Intra-Op Cath lab space primarily caring for patients as they undergo invasive procedures. Primary responsibilities include: Performing patient assessments and monitoring for cardiac procedures Administering oral and intravenous medication to patients Operating department equipment such as balloon pumps and Impella assist devices Managing patients under sedation to watch for adverse reactions Educating patients and their families regarding surgical site care, lifestyle, medications and other postoperative information Managing paperwork, including patient consent forms, charting, lab results and procedure documentation The hours of operation for this unit are Monday-Friday 7am to 7:30pm, 7a-5:30p on the weekends, with call all hours outside of this. Shift Details: Part-time, 30 hours weekly, Day shift Required qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 1 year of Nursing experience.
