We are seeking a QA Specialist Energy, to join the team in our Richland, WA office.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Performs surveillances and inspections on facility processes and procedures to ensure compliance with governing requirements.

  • Oversees procurement, fabrication, testing and final document review and release for material shipments.

  • Provides support to, and monitors the quality of, fabrication and construction activities.

  • Perform design and specifications reviews to determine compliance with applicable procedures, codes and standards.

  • Familiarization with nondestructive examinations for metallic materials.

  • Develops/revises quality-related plans and procedures as requested.

  • Has knowledge of commonly used QA/QC concepts and practices.

  • Performs on-site QA overview activities at various supplier locations and travels between facilities as necessary.

  • Manages nonconformance and corrective action programs and maintain the tracking database as requested.

  • Develops supplier performance metrics and tracks supplier corrective actions.

  • Assists business unit line managers and staff with the completion of corrective actions identified during surveillances and audits.

  • Provides support, as requested, for the development, revision and review of quality-related procedures and plans.

  • Ensures project plans are properly executed and evaluates the effectiveness of controls delineated in these plans.

  • Provides support to regulatory and customer audits and assessments.

  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • There is no supervision of other workers at this level.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 3 years' experience working in Quality Control (QC), or manufacturing/construction preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office Products.
