----Job Description---- * Location: Richland, Washington * Type: Contract * Job #7745 Overview: ACS Professional Staffing is looking for an employee to work on-site with our client. This Project Coordinator role will be responsible for keeping the engineering computer lab running smoothly. This position will manage the ECL's setup, scheduling, and who gets to use it. This includes keeping track of how the ECL computers are configured to make sure everything works well. This full-time position is located in Richland, WA. Pay rate: $30.43 - $46.20 Benefits: * Sick Leave: One hour of paid sick leave for every 40-hours worked (sick leave can be used after 90-days of employment) * EAP: Employee Assistance Program * Benefit Options: Medical, HSA, Group Life/AD&D, Voluntary Life/AD&D, Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Voluntary Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Critical Illness, Voluntary Accident, 401k (eligible after one year and 1,000 hours worked - employer match up to 4%) * Other benefits include the following: Calm App, Access Perks Responsibilities: * Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely execution of tasks. * Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communications. * Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and management to ensure alignment on project objectives and progress. * Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and implement corrective actions as needed. * Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status reports. * Prepare regular reports on project progress, key metrics, and performance against targets. * Ensure adherence to project quality standards and procedures. * Facilitate quality reviews and inspections to identify and address defects or deficiencies. * Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities. * Monitor resource utilization and make recommendations for optimization. * Identify and address project issues and conflicts in a timely manner. * Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate stakeholders for resolution. * Participate in lessons learned sessions to capture best practices and areas for improvement. * Contribute to the refinement of project management processes and methodologies. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies. * Maintain project documentation in accordance with organizational guidelines and audit requirements. * Provide training and support to team members on project management tools, processes, and procedures. * Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment to enhance project effectiveness and efficiency. Requirements: * 4year degree and 4 years' experience in IT work * Or 10 years' experience in IT work * This person should have background in some of the following: * Cisco Switches * Cisco Firewalls * NetApp Storage * Trellix/McAfee Cyber Security Devices * OWL Data Diodes * VMWare * Windows Servers (Active Directory, DNS) * Project Management * DCS experience * Standard project management techniques Work sponsorship is not available at this time.
