CTG Project Controls Professional III in Richland, Washington
CTG is seeking to fill a Project Controls Professional III opening for our client in Richland, WA.
Location: Richland, WA
Duration: 12 months
Duties:
Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to gather data for accurate scheduling and cost identification.
Develop and maintain level 1-5 detailed project implementation schedules using Primavera P6 (P6).
Integrate project cost estimates with schedules to produce logic-tied, resource-loaded cost flow projections.
Analyze schedule deviations and identify activities that may impact cost and schedule.
Prepare reports comparing baseline approved schedules to progress schedules, including critical path methods, resource loading, cost loading, and manpower projections.
Evaluate real-time cost and schedule performance to determine project status and financial condition.
Work with Project Managers to develop accurate Estimate to Completion (ETC) to ensure predictable project performance and cost forecasts.
Manage data entry into project databases, ensuring configuration control and performing consistency reviews.
Identify lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of processes.
Attend project challenge/approval meetings and participate in safety and general staff meetings.
Skills:
Proficient in Earned Value Management (EVM) and project controls.
Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Skilled in analyzing project cost and schedule deviations and preparing recovery plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse group.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a detail-oriented approach.
Knowledge of project reporting and cost analysis techniques.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of experience in project controls/project management within an industrial environment, or
9 years of project controls/project management experience with an Associate’s degree, or
11 years of project controls/project management experience with a High School diploma or GED.
Formal training in Primavera P6 or a similar project management system is required.
Experience supporting large, complex projects with budgets of $25M+ is highly desirable.
Experience with nuclear industry, renewable energy, or construction is preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Asset Suite, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Workday is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field (preferred).
An Associate’s degree or High School diploma/GED, along with significant relevant experience, will be considered.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00/hour to $105.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
Remote work MAY BE AVAILABLE AFTER 3 to 6 months based on individual training, trust, merit, and performance. ONLY IF IT WORKS FOR THE TEAM.
