Principal Licensing Engineer RADIATION PROTECTION Richland, WA * ID: 1877-378 * Full-Time/Regular What You've Accomplished You have completed a BS in Nuclear or Environmental Eng'g/Eng'g Tech. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 7 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology. Demonstrated strong business and/or technical expertise in a related capacity. Strong interpersonal relationships. Strong Written and Verbal Communications. Knowledge of specialized database applications and PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, Access, etc. Experience in Fuel Fabrication Facility Licensing or similar field. As a Principal Licensing Engineer in Richland, WA you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include: Taking the lead on assigned licensing efforts with the US NRC, US DOT, US State Department, Washington State Department of Health, Washington State Department of Ecology, Benton County Clean Air Agency and the City of Richland. Advise other Framatome organizations on regulatory requirements associated with 10 CFR 20, 10 CFR 51, 10 CFR 70, 10 CFR 71, 10 CFR 74; and WAC 246-220-250 as it applies to the Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing business. Provide client input regarding regulatory requirements associated with the Licensing and operating of Nuclear Fuel Fabrication Facilities. This position requires occasional travel.
