You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in an engineering role for at least 4 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology. As a Licensing Engineer in Richland, WA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include Taking the lead on assigned licensing efforts with the U.S NRC, U.S. DOT, U.S. State Department, Washington State Department of Health, Washington State Department of Ecology, Benton County Clean Air Agency and the City of Richland. Advise other Framatome organizations on regulatory requirements associated with 10CFR 20, 0CFR 51, 10 CFR 70, 10 CFR 71, 10CFR 74; and WAC 246-220-250 as it applies to the Nuclear Fuel Manufacturing business. Provide client input regarding regulatory requirements associated with the Licensing and operating of Nuclear Fuel Cycle Facilities. This position requires occasional travel. Responsibility for program development, program evaluation, and certain other program sectors, e.g., the ALARA program or the bioassay program, may be assigned to other professional staff within the radiation protection function. A closely related function is the environmental safety function which includes an Environmental Engineer and Health Physicists who monitor the day-to-day activities required to comply with effluent monitoring requirements.
