Preferred: Journeyman card. Welding experience. The journeyman Pipefitter will have at least 4 years work experience which relates to the pipefitting maintenance field such as fabrication, installation and repair of industrial piping systems. Due to the variety of tasks, a thorough knowledge of maintenance techniques, material, tools and equipment is required. As an Industrial Journeyman Pipefitter in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Your work will include: Examines equipment to diagnose trouble and effect repairs or replacement of broken parts. Adjusts functional parts of equipment as required. May work from engineering drawings or rough sketches in performing fabrication work. Must adhere to established industry and safety practices. Inspect completed work and ensure that work conforms to requirements of local building and safety codes. Your Total Rewards Package The starting rate for this position is $51.97 per hour. After a successfully completed introductory period the pay increases to $54.70 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and benefits.
