Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Support Specialist - Workforce Management

Location: Work shall be conducted at the Department of Energy (DOE) government offices, The Hanford Site and Richland, WA. This position may be telework eligible, and if identified as such, there will be a 30-day waiting period in which 100% in-office support will be expected.

Citizenship: US Citizenship Required

$31.25 p/h - $43.27 p/h, depending on relevant background experience, years of experience and educational background. This is a full-time, non-exempt, SCA-classified position.

AttainX, Inc. is in search of an HR support specialist to support our government client, DOE, at the Hanford Site. The HR Support Specialist - Workforce Management plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Assistant Manager of Business (AMB) and Financial Operations. This position is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of SharePoint and AMB/Workforce Management Division (WFM) webpage, supporting Hanford People Core (HPC), PopFon, organizational charts, Human Resources Reporting Application (HRRA) and providing additional assistance as needed in areas of data analysis, awards management, general WFM, training and staffing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and possesses excellent communication skills to collaborate with employees and stakeholders at all levels.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining SharePoint sites and web pages.
  • An associate's degree in business or a technology related field.
  • 4 years of experience primarily working in the field of employee and labor relations.
  • 4 years of experience using Microsoft related programs in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including but not limited to, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Experience and Capabilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to interpret information, advise supervisors, resolve problems, conduct meetings/briefings, conduct investigations and interface with all levels of management throughout the Hanford Site, sufficient to perform the major duties of the position.
  • Ability to plan, organize and direct complex work, sufficient to perform the major duties of the position.
  • Knowledge of the Hanford Site's goals, objectives, organizations, programs, missions and functions.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe and Adobe Pro applications.

Job Duties:

DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SHAREPOINT AND AMB/WFM WEBPAGE (40%)

  • Develop AMB SharePoint site/page.
  • Assist AMB divisions in development of SharePoint sites.
  • Coordinate and synchronize AMB SharePoint sites.
  • Maintain AMB SharePoint site/page and assist AMB divisions with SharePoint sites/pages.
  • Maintain and update WFM intranet webpage, as needed.
  • Perform quarterly review of WFM intranet webpage for accuracy, including but not limited to, weblink maintenance, information updates, program timelines, etc.

HPC, POPFON, ORGANIZATIONAL CHARTS, HRRA (40%)

Data entry of new federal staff members into HPC for temporary display in PopFon until their ESS profile becomes available.

Notify DOE Visitor Control when staff move between offices in reorganizations or transfers based on promotions.

Request addition of new office location in ESS.

Review HPC Nightly Load Errors Report and resolve anomalies.
