This tremendous opportunity for a seasoned human resources executive is open due to retirement and will help lead a well-respected non-profit organization. POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President (VP), Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a member of the organization's executive management team and provides leadership to the overall strategic direction for all of Fraser's Human Resource integrated platforms, including compensation; talent acquisition; benefits; employee relations; learning and development; shared services; HRIS; organizational development; and BIPOC relations. The VP, CHRO oversees management and coordination to ensure that HR teams work in collaboration to meet Fraser's aggressive growth strategies in support of our mission and vision PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Organizational Accountabilities Provide visionary leadership to continue to advance Human Resources as a value-added partner. Work closely with Executive team and division directors to stay abreast of all HR challenges across the organization and provide well analyzed and cost-effective solutions that will meet Fraser's needs going forward. Partner closely with COO to lead and implement coordinated activities between HR and Operations. Create organizational policies, practices, and guidelines in partnership with compliance team. Partner with Compliance Officer on HR related topics. Lead the organization through HR and pandemic-related challenges. Participate in the design of divisional and department reorganizations. Participate in creating communication plan. Oversee all administrative changes that need to take place. Attend weekly Cuddle Huddle executive meetings and Fraser Forward meetings. Attend Board of Director meetings, prepared to answer any questions directed at Human Resources. Present at meetings on HR topics. Attend Directors Council, Expanded Directors Council, and other executive meetings. Human Resource Management Implement established 3-year strategic plan and create next strategic plan for each of the functional platforms under this division with an awareness of the internal and external factors that influence HR. The primary goal is for all functional platforms to remain integrated to best support Fraser's mission and overall strategies. Create stretch MBOs for all functional areas of Human Resources. Provide leadership for the completion of all MBOs in a timely and cost-effective manner. Create and manage the budgets for this division. Train staff to make decisions with an eye on the cost associated with each expense. Develop metrics that analyze the success of each HR platform on a continual basis. Readjust or modify programs based on metrics. Organize and co-lead the HR Advisory Committee which is comprised of industry leaders in Human Resources who meet on a quarterly basis in support of Fraser initiatives. Manage a staff of HR professionals. Provide healthy and learning work culture for HR team. Network with other non-profits to maintain a pulse of industry issues, challenges, and actions. Compensation Experience creating compensation systems and a compensation philosophy that will guide decisions. Utilize compensation expertise to make methodical compensation decisions that best utilize our financial resources to meet our need to maintain financial strength while achieving retention and recruitment results.
