Hybrid BIG DATA ENGINEER Job details Posted 16 February 2024 Location Richfield, MN Job type Contract Reference 903262 Job description Location: MN and NY/NJ (Hybrid) ETL/BIG DATA ENGINEER- TESTING Experience: Have total experience of 10+ years that comprise hands-on experience in data engineering pipeline development(at least 1+ years)and experience in data engineer pipeline testing(at least 5+ years) Hands-on experience in data pipeline test automation(at least 2+) using JUNIT or SCALA TEST Hands-on experience in data pipeline tools sparks, SQL, Hadoop. Have good experience in Test Suite/Test cases creating and mapping with Business rules. Have good experience in design and creation of test dataset. Experience in leading testing teams in test automation. Experience in integration with Jira/Jenkins Very good understanding Testing Strategy, Testing plan and Implementation. Solid foundation of different data pipelines testing approaches What skills/technologies are required Coding experience (3yrs) - must demonstrate understanding of full SDLC and familiar with product lifecycle (any language/tools) Testing experience (1-3yrs) - manual and automated testing experience preferred, must demonstrate understanding of how to build test scenarios including data sets leveraging team artifacts and ability to coordinate testing with multiple teams. US Bank enterprise test management experience a plus (any language/tools) Experience working on an agile team (managing to feature/story development and appropriate acceptance test definitions) Experience working in a matrix environment Experience with testing in cloud environments a plus if above baseline criteria is met. Financial Domain experience Skills: Data Engineering, coding experience, data engineer pipeline testing, testing suite, test cases, agile, matrix, JUNIT, SCALA, Hadoop, SQL Responsibilities: Communicate with business team & lead test automation scrum team. Define and implement KPI to measure test quality. Identifying test cases that can validate business scenarios. Design & create test datasets. Implement test automation framework using Spark, Junit/ScalaTest, Jira and Jenkins Implement test automation framework that facilitate future test suite/test case addition and enhancements.
