Manufacturing Technician II

Job Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test complex electrical and mechanical products.

  • Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all manufacturing processes.

  • Follow strict operating procedures and manufacturing schedules.

  • Apply wiring diagrams, pinout instructions, and engineering drawings to perform flawless assembly tasks.

  • Collaborate with team members to successfully implement production improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience assembling and solving complex problems with electrical and mechanical components and systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in an Electronics or Technology field and/or 5 years of related experience.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, particularly adhering to established processes and production timelines.

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.

  • Capable of lifting 35 pounds unassisted.

  • Able to work sitting or standing for extended periods.

  • Excellent visual acuity and hand/eye coordination.

  • Experience using optical microscopes for assembly of small components.

  • Proficient with electronic assembly and testing equipment such as soldering irons, multimeters, crimp tools, and torque tools.

  • Meticulous, proactive individual who can thrive with limited oversight.

  • Familiar with quality management systems and safety programs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
