KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join our Audit (https://audit.kpmg.us/) practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the execution of the broker-dealer service offering supporting various audit engagements in accordance with relevant regulatory and professional auditing and assurance standards

  • Lead onshore and offshore team members to deliver centralization of the regulatory process to introducing broker-dealer engagement teams

  • Maintain a working knowledge of and research findings regarding accounting literature trends and technical issues relevant to the broker-dealer industry

  • Liaise with engagement teams, monitor service offering budgets, and manage feedback

  • Collaborate internally and cross functionally to refine operating processes and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of services

  • Provide input into the vision and strategy around the expansion of future broker-dealer offerings

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent financial statement audit experience within a public accounting firm with demonstrated supervisory experience

  • Broker-Dealer experience preferred but not required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and licensed CPA in their home office state

  • Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Public Company Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards

  • Adhere to the firm's values and code of conduct

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills; strong writing and presentation skills; ability to meet challenging client requirements along with strong communication interpersonal analytical skills and research abilities
