The Global Head of Digital Strategy and Portfolio Management drives the drafting and articulation of the firm’s digital strategy and holds accountability for the successful execution of key strategic initiatives. This position will report into the Chief Digital and Technology Officer for CBRE IM and will be an integral part of the executive leadership team.

In addition, this role is accountable for holding a 360-degree picture of the entire digital portfolio, including demand and supply management, key outcomes, ROI, major milestones and execution to cost and time. Budgetary planning, investor communications, risk management and strategic vendor management will fall under the purview of this role. This role will also be responsible for advancing nascent capabilities such as digital innovation, Proptech pilots and managing our outreach and partnership efforts.

A key component of the role will also be partnering strongly with the Global Transformation Office to evaluate and drive ROI and adoption plans and collaborating with segment leaders to articulate digital differentiation and quantify value delivery.

What You'll Do:

Strategy Development and Implementation:

•Enhance and draft digital strategy and roadmap, collaborating with CDTO, COO, digital and business leadership across executive committee and business segments.

•Articulate strategic priorities into digital initiatives and associated outcomes.

•Lead the execution of strategic initiatives across CBRE IM D&T.

•Manages IT Risk Management portfolio and accountable for oversight of risk management team.

Program and Project Governance:

•Lead and manage overall Digital Governance, ensuring tight alignment with business priorities and D&T strategic roadmap.

•Responsible for intake pipeline, resource allocation, budget planning mechanisms and overall demand and supply management.

•Manages and monitors overall D&T budget and liaise with the Finance organization for financial planning and budgeting.

•Holds oversight on overall project execution to ensure adherence to on time and on budget delivery.

•Monitor project execution to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.

•Mitigate project risks through proactive identification and implementation of risk management strategies.

Stakeholder Management:

•Facilitate communication and reporting with management and stakeholders to provide updates on strategic initiatives' progress.

•Partners with stakeholders across business to coordinate outreach efforts, brown bag and learning sessions, manage SME councils etc

•Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and buy-in for strategic objectives.

•Address stakeholder concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner to maintain support for strategic initiatives.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

•Provide leadership and guidance on strategy and program management across teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

•Foster a collaborative environment across teams to ensure cohesive execution of strategic initiatives.

•Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

What You'll need:

•MBA or equivalent work experience.

•15 or more years' experience.

•Consulting experience in a major firm highly valued

•Demonstrated ability to work across groups, using an influence-based model.

•Experience managing strategic Program Portfolio and IT Strategy and Architecture functions.

•Strong intellectual curiosity demonstrated ability to learn new content; externally grounded in market trends, competitive events.

•Courage to disagree; confidence to develop and defend strategic perspectives; maturity to accept alternative decisions.

•Capable of articulating compelling strategies and motivating peers and cross functional teams; with an ability to balance listening and advocacy to achieve desired strategic goals.

•Experience with Asset management, Investment Management and real Estate domains, managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders.
