We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Family Law Paralegal in Richardson, Texas. This role is integral to our client's legal team, focusing on property division matters, with potential involvement in conservatorship side. As a Paralegal, you will employ your skills and experience in family law, property division and discovery, with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing for family law trial, specifically in the realm of property division

• Conduct property division and discovery tasks with high proficiency

• Conduct briefing and calendar management tasks in a timely manner

• Engage in effective communication with clients and team members

• Perform billing functions, ensuring all financial aspects of cases are handled accurately

• Potentially assist with conservatorship cases, if skills and experience allow

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Family law Paralegal or in a similar role.

• Experience with Case Management Software for organizing and managing legal cases and client information.

• Capable of drafting and briefing legal documents and reports.

• Proficient in Calendar Management, including scheduling meetings, court dates, deadlines, and other events.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients, attorneys, and court personnel.
