Job Description:

The Point of Entry Screener is responsible for providing excellent customer service and enhancing the experience of all patients, visitors, guests and team members who access Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) facilities. This individual provides a welcoming first impression while simultaneously upholding compliance screening and visitor policy standards. The Point of Entry Screener will use critical thinking skills to troubleshoot challenges, offer resolutions, demonstrate appropriate empathy for unique circumstances and will reach out to leaders and others as needed to support a positive experience for those entering our facilities. This individual will also communicate and interact effectively with those who enter the facility in a professional and helpful manner.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Minimum Required: Completion of sophomore year in high school.

Preferred/Optional: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required: None

Preferred/Optional: Health care reception / registration experience and general knowledge of medical terminology.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.

Minimum Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.

Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.

WORK SCHEDULE

6:00 PM - 6:00 AM with every other weekend.
