Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The Courtesy Attendant provides customer service to patients, visitors and Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) staff in various capacities. This individual greets patients in a professional, courteous, friendly manner and assists them as they request. The Courtesy Attendant requests may include assisting with calling the patient’s transportation, helping them in and out of the transportation units or directing them when arriving or leaving the facility.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.

Preferred/Optional: None
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Previous customer service experience.
Preferred/Optional: One year experience with patient customer service. Experience with durable medical equipment.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: A valid State of Wisconsin driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
