Eaton Corporation Manufacturing Engineer (Controls) in Reynosa, Mexico

Eaton’s Filtration division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our Reynosa facility.

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for all phases of assigned standard engineering projects, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost. Implements process improvements to meet quality standards, performs feasibility studies and solves problems.

Some activities related with the position will be:

  • Zero accidents.

  • Identify and propose new technologies for the different processes

  • Control of technical drawings and provide production Support

  • Prepare under the manufacture routings adequate Job instructions to manufacturing.

  • Keep up to date production records, standards and Core Toll documentation (PFMEA’s CPK’s etc.)

  • Perform quality system procedures.

  • Identify necessary requirements and tooling to increase productivity

  • Support the design and development of fixtures for assembly.

  • Participate in the preventive maintenance program.

  • Development of AutoCAD drawings.

  • Assist in the completion of reports, graphs and other manufacturing documents.

  • Know ECO's procedures and deploy production documents.

  • Coordinate needs for new transfers for successful implementation

  • Provide input to improve their work.

  • Meet the training courses assigned to the training system, according to the functions performed.

  • The incumbent will have the responsibility to implement these functions and other activities as assigned by his manager.

Calificaciones

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree is required, basic understanding of Finance and Accounting

  • 3 to 5 years of previous experience

  • Must show proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication, machining and casting drawings, ISO 9001/14001knowledge, ANSI and ASMT knowledge, ProLaunch knowledge, AutoCAD, Pro E,

  • Strong problem solving and Project Management skills, effective communication skills at all levels of the organization,Ability to work with functions outside of Engineering for the common good of Eaton.

  • Fully bilingual (Spanish/English)
