1 Candidate Search Category (Portal Searching) Construction Service Line (UKG) : Name IMS-IEA Management Services Overview Position Summary: Responsible for independently inspecting and monitoring construction activities to ensure completion per the plans and adheres to all specifications and codes required. This position will notify project management of significant issues and complete documentation to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities per project specifications. Employee must develop a thorough understanding of the project scope and schedule as they relate to their specific assignment. Location & Travel Details: You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build renewable projects. This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You'll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated daily per diem in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses. This position is eligible for routine travel home (rotation) from the jobsite. Responsibilities Promote and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures Inspect and ensure the quality of work performed during the daily activities of the overall construction on a large-scale wind and/or solar project. May include but not limited to; roads, environmental (SWPPP), excavations, concrete, rebar, substations, transmission lines, underground utilities, wind turbine installation and solar system installation Determine that construction work is in conformance with the design documents Review tests and inspection reports to ensure that all required tests are completed and communicate all failing tests and/or inspections to the Field Quality Manager to assess Ensure all materials associated with installation are in accordance with approved submittals, purchase order, and product data to ensure compliance with job site specifications Perform basic to moderate surveying and necessary measuring to check line, grade and dimensions of roadway, and structural elements
