Google Technical Program Manager, Public Sector, Technology, Strategy, Delivery in Reston, Virginia

This position requires that the candidate selected currently possess and maintain an active Top Secret. The position further requires the candidate will obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work. Failure to maintain (or obtain, if applicable) the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements that results in the employee unable to perform the requirements of the role, may result in employment action up to and including termination.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program management.

  • 5 years of experience in technology consulting, or similar in the federal government space.

  • Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to upgrade to Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) Security Clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technical (e.g. Engineering) or business (e.g. MBA) field.

  • PMP certification.

  • Experience with cloud solutions, including networking, infrastructure, security.

  • Experience supporting US government organizations in a Program or Project Manager, Technical Lead, or similar role.

  • Ability to work across teams, build relationships, influence senior managers, and successfully manage multiple complex priorities.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead the strategic, technical, and program management of large, multi-functional Google Cloud projects with strategic customers.

  • Manage multiple concurrent complex interactions with geographically disparate teams.

  • Cultivate trusted technical and business partnerships across Google Cloud product teams and stakeholders to identify, assess, and resolve recurring challenges.

  • Manage risks, issues, and actions for customers, and track them regularly to meet the expected outcomes and timelines.

  • Manage program budget and spending and transparent billing and ordering activities.
