Senior Engineer / Java & UNIX

$65/hr - $80/hr

We are working with an AI and analytics company who partners closely with large fintech firms to analyze and improve flaws in their business structure while leveraging AI. Working with Java, UNIX, Spring, AWS, and any front-end experience is a plus. This position is fully remote and on a contract-to-hire basis.

This position is a great way to get involved in the emerging AI market, while having an impact on some of the largest financial firms in the world. In this role, you would be building backend microservices that route data to train the AI models. They are hiring for a Senior Java Developer with at least seven years of experience. Compensation ranges depending on technical ability and background, but they are able to put together quality compensation packages.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience with Java

• UNIX / Linux

• Spring

• AWS

• UI experience with Angular or React

• 5 years’ experience in the Fintech space

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent

Desired Skills & Experience

• Docker or Kubernetes

• Hibernate

• Entrepreneurial spirit

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
