FANNIE MAE Product Managment Analyst - Single-Family Mortgage Ops (Flexible Hybrid) in Reston, Virginia

Job Description As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with the team to build, develop, or design functionality for a product, as well as participate in the implementation, enhancement, or maintenance of existing products.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Operations - Product Management - Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in activities to support oversight for existing and new products.

  • Assist the team with the implementation process for new products.

  • Identify opportunities for product improvements and provide feedback to senior team members.

  • Collaborate with the team on ongoing maintenance of the product lifecycle.

  • Assist the team in ensuring product strategy is in alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • Prior Single-Family mortgage industry experience

  • Experience supporting internal products

  • Experience supporting internal and external stakeholders

Skills

  • Ability to frame ideas as systems and understand the relationship between inputs, outputs, and transformation

  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends or relationships to provide business insights

  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel and SQL

  • Skilled in working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal.

  • Stakeholder management skills

  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.

  • Operational Excellence including improving and overseeing products.

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion

  • Communication including communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.

  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.

Tools

  • Skilled in SQL

  • Skilled in Excel

  • Experience using JIRA
