We are actively hiring early-to-mid-career Management Consultants with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support a fast-paced and growing team in Reston, VA. The successful candidates will have experience in understanding and assessing complex client problems and then designing and executing solutions to address those problems. Our consultants serve as trusted advisors to high-profile clients in the Intelligence Community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate independently with no supervision and collaborate effectively in a team environment to:
Provide advice to leaders and managers on organizational matters, to include finance/budget, business processes, strategy, organizational design, organizational development, training and/or performance management
Design and conduct research into organizational issues, assessing the current state
Apply value elicitation techniques to understand the desired future state
Analyze the gap between the current state and desired future state and make actionable recommendations
Capture data and other research results, as well as findings and recommendations, in reports and briefings for leaders and managers
Advise on implementation of recommendations
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree
TS/SCI with polygraph
3+ years of management consulting, professional services, and/or project management experience
3+ years’ experience leading and supporting projects in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Proven track record of navigating complex projects, building client relationships, and collaborating with others
Ability to think critically, analyze, and actively listen to effectively solve problems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent research, data gathering, and analytical skills
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Master’s degree
Intermediate to advanced data manipulation and analytical skills using Excel
Experience with projects on client sites
Experience with consulting in a professional or internship environment
Experience with mission analysis, requirements analysis, gap analysis, strategic planning, roadmap development, training, policies, processes and procedures, business process reengineering, organizational development, strategic communications, risk management, or Lean Six Sigma
Knowledge of project management processes and best practices
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
