Job SummaryCoordinates and manages the creation of content for digital formats for distribution via the Internet and across all digital outlets. Produce written content and scheduling systems. Coordinates web development and digital creative projects. Ensures accuracy of program schedule information online. Offers a proven blend of editorial skills (copy writing, social media best practices) and technical know-how.

The Web Producer II will create, update, and maintain web pages in a content management system (AEM). You should have an understanding of HTML & CSS, reusable components, responsive implementation, and site performance.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill and experience.

• Knowledge and understanding of Web Content Management Systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager

• Working functional knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Meticulous attention to details; strong organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills

• Ability to get things done through formal channels and an informal network

• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels

• Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving and negotiating skills

• Familiarity with a variety of online marketing concepts, best practices and procedures

Candidates outside of the area will be considered but the position is located in Reston, VA

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and two years related work experience or six years related work experience post high school

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe Stack/AEM knowledge

  • Proven track record of success producing digital content in sports, music, entertainment or news

  • Strong analytical, prioritization, problem-solving and negotiating skills
