Job Description

Our client, an environmental engineering and construction firm, is looking for a Construction Quality Control Specialist to join their construction team. This person will be responsible for traveling (up to 70%) to different environmental construction sites across the country to provide onsite quality control support. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform daily quality control checks and compliance activities

• Test and evaluate all materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications

• Act as lead for entire project quality by interfacing with technical staff, management, subcontractors, and clients

• Review specifications, drawings, project deliverables, and ongoing construction activities

• Document and communicate all quality control activities and deficiencies and ensure they are corrected swiftly, efficiently, and correctly

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Quality Control Specialist, with 3 years of experience working on federal projects, preferrable USACE

• Construction Quality Management Certification

• Ability to travel up to 70% null
