Capture Manager (Remote)

ICF is in the business of Making Big Things Possible and we’re looking for a Capture Manager to accelerate the rapid growth of our Disaster Response, Recovery, and Mitigation business. We provide professional services and technical solutions that maximize impacts for people, businesses, and government in areas critical to the world's future.

What You Will Do:

As a demonstrated leader of pursuit strategies, you will guide strategy discussions and positioning activities for specific opportunities. Working with subject matter experts, you will provide strategic and tactical leadership to drive external and internal activities to increase our likelihood of winning.

  • Lead the pursuit team to fully qualify the opportunity, confirm that the win is achievable, and increase the probability of winning throughout the capture process.

  • Lead the development of the win strategy, and identify critical activities and resources needed to increase the win probability.

  • Ensure client-focused activities are taking place, including client and stakeholder meetings in concert with the Capture team, throughout the life of the pursuit.

  • Source teaming partners and negotiate teaming agreements and work share, including MBE/WBE participation as appropriate, prior to RFP release.

  • Drive team to develop win strategies and ensure differentiators are compelling and validated relative to client priorities.

  • Collaborate with the Solution Lead and/or SMEs to develop a technical solution for the client.

  • Work with Marketing to develop necessary thought leadership, campaign, or social media content.

  • Serve as a color team reviewer during the proposal development phase to connect the customer problems to the capture solution through to the final proposal.

What You Will Bring With You:

  • 8+ years overall experience, which must include 3+ years of experience as a Capture Manager, preferably with professional services firm(s).

  • Must have experience serving state and local government clients.

  • Experience leading capture teams and achieving successful outcomes.

  • A firm grasp of the proposal process.

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Agile decision-making, valuing diversity of thought, with the ability to apply sound judgment to make informed decisions.

  • You have the ability to identify and facilitate the assignment and allocation of resources and prioritize effectively in limited time frames to ensure engagement to achieve desired objectives and established milestones.

  • Demonstrated competence in leading and influencing high-performance teams.

  • A customer focus, with the ability to decipher customer environment and interpret into specific needs.

  • You are a leader with a clear vision and strong ethical compass.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$102,285.00 - $173,884.00
