Job Description

-The client is seeing a candidate for a big data developer who loves solving complex problems across a full spectrum of technologies. The big data developer will help ensure that our technological infrastructure operates seamlessly in support of business objectives

-Develop and implement pipelines that extract, transform, and load data

-Focus on ingesting, storing, processing, and analyzing large datasets

-Create scalable, high-performance web services for tracking data

-Translate complex technical and functional requirements into detailed designs

-Investigate alternatives for data storing and processing to ensure implementation of the most streamlined solutions

Skills and Requirements

-Good knowledge on AWS infrastructure: EMR, SQS, SNS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Glue Catalog are a must

-Excellent Python developer skills. Has experience in developing pyspark code. UNIX shell script is a plus

-Good understanding of unstructured database, such as Hive

-Excellent knowledge in writing SQL query for data ingestion and data analysis

-Worked with github / Terraform pipeline, or Jenkins / UCD pipeline null
