Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for an AI/ML Architect/Engineer to join our team. This position can be located at any CGI office in the U.S, preferred location is Reston, VA or Plano, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the secondary mortgage industry. As an Applied AI/ML Architect/Engineer, you will be responsible for leading architectural decisions for the Cloud, and Data Enterprise Portfolios. You must have a deep understanding of technical architecture and have implemented AI/ML solutions in a cloud environment. Knowledge of industry best practices around enterprise AI/ML adoption, security, architectures, and patterns. Experience with micro-services architectures and cloud migration for data is a plus. Technical experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Strong interpersonal communications skill is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

• Position yourself as a trusted advisor to business teams and partner with them to understand their requirements for cloud implementations

• Provide recommendations to clients with respect to AI/ML implementations and prepare technical implementation roadmaps for adoption

• Create application architecture, data architecture, deployment architectures, functional design specifications and assist with other project deliverables as needed.

• Design state-of-the-art AI/ML solutions that address customers' requirements for function, scalability, reliability, security, and performance

• Collaborate with other project teams and other laterals such as Information Security, Compliance, Controls etc. on architectural solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proven track record of implementing machine learning solutions, AI services and statistical analysis related projects in production

• Technical leadership with analytical, problem solving and communication skills

• Familiarity with cloud AI/ML platform offerings, features

• Applied knowledge of Gen AI. Understanding of AI services for speech, vision and text.

• Machine learning background with algorithms

• Expertise in MLOps and dataops lifecycles and engineering implementation in enterprise

• Ability to code in Python, Spark or R as a programming language

• We are looking for someone who has an excelent trackrecord as an AI/ML engineer and recently working as an architect

• 8+ years of progressive hands-on experience in AI/ML application development with 5-6 years of AI/ML solution architecture, systems architecture and engineering, analysis and applications programming in AI related discipline. Technical team leadership role is preferred

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in working with a cloud provider (AWS or Azure)

• Experience with Architecture principles and TOGAF framework is a plus

• AI/ML relevant AWS Professional Certification is preferred

  1. Strong ability in communicating in writing or verbally, copywriting, planning and distributing communication, etc.

  2. Skilled in creating visual concepts, creating content, and editing content by hand or with the help with computer software to communicate ideas.

  3. Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work towards a common goal.

  4. Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict.

  5. Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.

  6. Experience identifying and selecting strategic options, and identifying resources to meet the defined objectives Tools

  7. Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship

Education:

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $84,000.00 - $186,000.00.
