Robert Half Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager in Reseda, California

Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor/Manager to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance industry, based in Reseda, California. This role centers around managing our organization's accounts receivable and business office systems. The ideal candidate will have the ability to supervise, maintain, and enhance these systems to ensure the achievement of financial, productivity, and quality goals.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the organization’s accounts receivable and business office systems.

• Manage operations towards achieving financial, productivity, and quality goals in accounts receivable follow-up and denial management.

• Collaboratively identify department training needs for system education, industry updates, and changes in processes and protocols with the AR Director.

• Work closely with the staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are met.

• Utilize reporting and analytics to track key performance metrics, trends, and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Deliver superior customer service to our residents, as well as external and internal customers.

• Develop and monitor policies and practices for compliance.

• Set goals for the Fiscal AR team.

• Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, Federal/State laws, and revenue cycle best practices.

• Provide AR Director with regular feedback on AR performance and continuous improvement efforts.

• Carry out other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years experience in a related accounts receivable role within the healthcare, hospitals or social assistance sectors

• Demonstrated proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and CRM

• Proven expertise in accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in auditing and billing functions

• Demonstrable ability to supervise and manage a team

• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the healthcare industry.
