Your Role and Responsibilities

IBM is seeking experienced and dynamic Consultant to work directly with customer accounts and to customize, extend and deploy IBM's Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) software in customer environments.

The Consultant is a technical, customer-facing role having paramount impact on customers' experience with IBM's CP4I software in customer environments. The position is responsible for an exciting range of projects solutions. The ideal candidate will have provided hands-on systems engineering capable of providing consulting services in complex environments.

You will directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

As a CP4I consultant, you will:

  • Work with various industries within the Integration space to deploy CP4I Hybrid Cloud solutions

  • You will work extensively with Redhat OCP as well as implement Devops solutions

  • You will perform CP4I implementations using Expert Labs methodology to Discover, Plan, Prove, Adopt and Scale including:

  • Architecture Design

  • Infrastructure, Implementation of Integration Design, Migration and Cloud Journeys

  • You will work with a team of High Performing Experts who will support you throughout your career

  • You will be connected to the Development Labs ensuring successful implementations

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position ($85,100-$131,000) is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with Security Gateways and API technologies

  • Knowledge of networking and networking security

  • Understanding of Hybrid and Public Cloud technologies

  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes

  • Consulting client-facing experience, preferably with an organization serving mission-critical operations

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with ability to build direct working relationships across all levels of IBM and client teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience installing/upgrading APIC/DataPower

  • Experience installing RedHat OCP

  • Experience with perimeter firewalls, Web application firewalls

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role
