Location: Boston, MA; Jersey City, NJ; Westlake, TX; Durham, NC

REQUIRED SKILLS 5+ years of development experience with strong knowledge of q/KDB+ programming, Python, Scripting (Shell/Perl) , Unix or Linux and SQL/Relational Databases, such as Oracle, is required. Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD pipeline; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are required

NICE TO HAVE - Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud (AWS S3, EC2, and CloudFormation along with Lambdas/Python a plus) - Experience working in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and Kafka, is preferred.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field, Masters a plus

• 5+ years of development experience with strong knowledge of q/KDB+ programming, Python, Scripting (Shell/Perl) , Unix or Linux, SQL/Relational Databases, such as Oracle, is required

• A deep understanding of various programming languages

• Hands-on experience in application deployment automation and pipelines

• Experience implementing projects as a team in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)

• Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD pipeline; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy

• Experience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries (e.g., Apigee)

• Ability to learn new things, new technology, and tackle problems

• Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud (AWS S3, EC2, and CloudFormation along with Lambdas/Python) a plus

• Experience working in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka, is a plus

• Experience in user interface frameworks/platforms (Angular, React, etc.) a plus
