Manufacturing Engineer Location: Renton, WA Job Type: Full-Time Exempt Benefits Medical (free employee only coverage and low-cost options available) Dental, Vision, Prescription Life and AD&D Insurance Company Sponsored 401k with Employer Match Employee Assistance Program Wellness Program Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discounts Pay: $80,000 - $110,000 Position The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the development and improvement of composite part fabrication processes, methods, and tooling. Position may include design of tools, shop floor manufacturing support, process development, and introduction of new products, as well as providing leadership to ME team members. Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities include: Development of tools, processes, machines, and equipment to integrate the facilities and systems for producing quality products with the optimum expenditure of capital Shop Floor Support Responsible for applying and establishing statistical methods, which control the process and maximize productivity Creation of work instructions Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Work Instruction creation Ability to prepare technical documents for customers Composite part fabrication experience Experience reviewing drawings, models, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities Experience with composite process and specifications of thermoset and/or thermoplastic parts and structures a plus Understanding basic industrial engineering practices, such as time studies, statistical analysis, ergonomic impacts, and value engineering principals Education: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or similar OR 5+ years' proven on-the-job experience. Preferred Computer Skills: Experience with Catia V5, Inventor, SolidWorks, or other 3-Dimensional CAD system Microsoft Office Suite Experience utilizing ERP system About Us For over 30 years SEKISUI Aerospace has been designing, testing, and manufacturing composite products for the aerospace industry.
