We are looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer
Summary:
In this role, you will be a key contributor to the test of new electronic products and to the support of manufacturing and field service teams engaged in the production and sustainment of railroad communication products.
Member of the test team. Responsibilities include support the identification and definition of the detailed system and subsystem tests for communication systems and their associated interfaces with other applications. Prepare test plans, test reports and defining test configurations to support required tests. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Contract Manufacturing operations and transitioning new products into production. Appropriately represent the needs of stakeholders while maintaining overall project integrity.

Primary Duties:
Act as the liaison for manufacturing test activities between MCC, EMS and 3rd party test service vendors.
Collaborate with EMS vendors to produce fully qualified manufacturing test systems.
Support manufacturing test system requirements definition and architecture.
Support EMS vendor manufacturing test work activities.
Participate in the development of test plans and test cases.
Participate in the development of DFX requirements.
Participate in functional, integration, usability, configuration and installation testing.
Prepare test results and status.
Evaluate the outcome of each test cycle and participate in reviews.
Support root-cause analysis and sustaining engineering for complex radio systems.
Support automated software development, validation, and deployment (LabVIEW and TestStand)
Support product development for automated test systems; feature development, troubleshooting, validation, deployment, etc.
Support project management and oversight for test systems in a repair environment.
