PACCAR Inc. General Accounting Supervisor Job in Renton, Washington

Requisition Summary Responsible for performing general accounting functions and conduct a wide scope of operational and financial related responsibilities for the truck after-market parts organization. The General Accounting Supervisor will lead a team responsible for general accounting duties, including accounts receivable, fixed assets, and fleet/call center billing activities. Additionally, this position performs and/or assists with internal control reviews and Sarbanes-Oxley documentation. The position will report to the General Accounting Manager. Job Functions / Responsibilities Participate in the month-end closing process including journal entries, financial statement reviews and Corporate reporting requirements. Supervise and lead a team with responsibility for General Accounting duties, including accounts receivable, fixed assets, and fleet/call center billing activities. Review reports, journal entries, reconciliations and ad-hoc reports prepared by direct reports. Prepare and/or review account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy of accounts receivable by reviewing aging reports, assisting with cash application issues and providing guidance to staff. Review SOX testing and ensure strong internal controls are functioning. Responsible for retaining, mentoring and motivating staff. Manage monthly forecasting of Fleet non-parts revenue and expenses. Perform and/or assist with assigned statistical inventories and Parts Distribution Center audits. Understand the relationship of operational and financial systems and develops reports in SAP, Excel, Access and SQL. Support internal control reviews and external audit requests. Perform other duties and accounting functions as assigned. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $80,800 - $114,290 annually.
