PACCAR Inc. Diesel Engineering Liaison in Renton, Washington
Requisition Summary Leverage mechanical knowledge to provide aftermarket parts sales liaison engineering support for Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers, including conducting research related to major component aftermarket research projects, communicating the feasibility of performing major component changes and part substitutions, providing ongoing training of department personnel and has specific product knowledge. This role can be based out of Renton, WA or Lewisville, TX. Job Functions / Responsibilities Communicate with dealers and coordinate major component/part changeouts with Division engineering and various PACCAR Parts departments are required. Plan and conduct research relating to major component aftermarket research projects. Answer written and verbal information requests regarding the feasibility of performing major component changes and part substitutions. Interpret drawings, blueprints and bill of materials relating to dealer inquiries/support. Review all major departmental research projects prior to distribution to the dealer. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $65,500 - $89,760 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
