We are looking to fill a full-time, 40 hours per week Clinic Assistant in our Renton and First Hill Clinics. In this role, you will work side by side with our surgeons and patients to prepare for exams that deliver life-changing vision correction outcomes.
Limited experience? No problem! We provide on-the-job training and will teach you how to take an active part in the patient care process.

Open and close exam lanes and ensure all supplies are stocked, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment; Monitor patient flow, room patients, prioritize flow for physicians and staff
Assist providers in performing ophthalmic procedures and by performing clinical functions, such as room flow, status communication to patient and provider
May instruct the patient in care and treatment of eye conditions, apply dressings to eye, as well as assist provider with documentation of exam data.
Quickly and accurately summarizes and documents what the Ophthalmologist says during an examination, including but not limited to: proper charting of the examination, documenting additions to the chief complaint, assessment and recommendations for treatment (including justification of decisions reached when appropriate).

Due to Governor Inslee's mandate, candidates must be fully vaccinated to start working with our group.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months of post-secondary education and/or training.
Minimum 1-year experience as a medical assistant or patient services.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, etc.).
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office products, Windows environment, and strong keyboarding skills.
Willing to help in all areas, have flexibility and effectively work in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication for exemplary customer service.
