Job Title: Assembly Lead

Job Description

GENERAL SCOPE: As an Assembly Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the assembly process to ensure efficient production flow. This advanced lead position involves training, troubleshooting, and ensuring quality standards are met in all related areas.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate assembly line activities to ensure continuous production.

  • Train and mentor assembly team members on proper techniques and safety protocols.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the assembly process.

  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards.

  • Maintain accurate records of production output and inventory levels.

  • Ensure all assembly materials are properly identified and stored according to company policies.

  • Safely and efficiently move materials and products using appropriate handling equipment.

  • Conduct daily cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy in a controlled and organized manner.

  • Ensure all obsolete and/or expired products are properly dispositioned.

  • Accurately perform material transactions within the ERP system.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

  • Run daily manifests and perform end-of-day tasks.

  • Maintain safe working practices and environment.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
