Providence Health Plan is calling an Accountant, Treasury who will: Be responsible for cash transfer payments and banking activities Support other functions necessary to complete the monthly financial reporting for one or more entities within Providence Health Plan Work on complex assignments with a less than moderate degree of supervision Prepare journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation Exercise of discretion and independent evaluation Analyze and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly Prepare schedules and work papers for internal and external financial audits Providence welcomes 100% remote work for residents who reside in the following States: Washington Oregon California Required qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Preferred qualifications for this position include: 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within health insurance or healthcare industry Experience with Excel Experience in the Health Care Industry Experience preparing journal entries and reconciling account balances Experience with computerized financial applications and Microsoft office applications Why Join Providence?
