Alaant Logistics Coordinator in Rensselaer, New York
Alaant Workforce Solutions is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to join a Capital Region biotechnology leader that develops and manufactures treatments for serious medical conditions. Our client values employee engagement and growth from within, and promotes a healthy work-life balance.
Hours and Benefits for the Logistics Coordinator
Monday-Friday 8 am-4:30 pm
$23.00/hour
Paid Time Off offered on an accrual basis
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance offered after 60 days of employment
Responsibilities of the Logistics Coordinator
Coordinate day-to-day with transportation suppliers, internal teams and agencies
Facilitate logistics meetings with managers and teams
Create shipping documentation and maintain databases including inventory reports, schedules, and notes
Create and monitor performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
Provide change controls support functions
General administrative tasks as needed
Requirement for the Logistics Coordinator
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
Experience with MS Office
Valid driver’s license
