Duties and Responsibilities:

· Hire and lead a team of hourly employees to support the business operation

· Accomplish goals while focusing with utmost importance on Safety, maintaining high employee morale, and employee engagement

· Develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans

· Drive daily schedule attainment to meet all internal and external customer commitments

· Develop and implement a continuous improvement strategy to improve safety, service, and quality, while reducing cycle times, costs, and in-process inventory levels

· Lead improvement project initiatives with a Lean focus

· Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross functional leadership team

· Flexibility to work various shifts as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Prior warehouse or manufacturing / leadership experience and training

· Ability to build and lead a team through change

· Strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills

· Six Sigma or equivalent quality training

· Strong organizational skills

· Ability to work without direct supervision

· Strong understanding of business processes in a service environment

· Ability to manage contract resources

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

· Employee is regularly required to stand, walk and sit throughout the work day

· Employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds

· Employee is required to use mobile equipment at times

· Employee is regularly required to wear required PPE

· Employee is required to be on site to supervise employees

· Requires daily face-to-face interaction with employees on production line

· The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment
