BUNZL Sales Support Representative in Reno, Nevada

FoodHandler, a Bunzl company, is seeking a Sales Support Representative. The Sales Support Representative will answer inquiries on customer accounts, investigate any issues, and find resolutions in a timely manner. They will serve as the liaison between the sales staff and the customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish company goals.

  • Enter customer orders with specific attention to details in IBM AS400 database system.

  • Conduct all functions, duties and responsibilities in a professional manner with a positive attitude and demeanor.

  • Investigate customer inquiries to a successful resolution.

  • Maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.

  • Function as a liaison between departments in the company to address customer needs.

  • Expedite orders as required.

  • Receive orders and resolve pricing situations encountered during customer transactions using current sales policies.

  • Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and errors. This includes obtaining proof of deliveries from the freight carrier and pulling necessary internal documents.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.

  • AS400 experience is a plus.

  • Ability to effectively work in a Windows environment with experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with a positive and proactive attitude while maintaining a high degree of energy, reliability, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Problem solver with the ability to multi-task using judgment and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent detail-oriented customer service skills.

  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Critical thinking. The ability to spot a potential issue based on your experience.

  • Time management and workload prioritization.

FoodHandler Nevada salary range: $21.50 - $27.00 per hour based on experience, education, and geographic location.
