SUMMARY: The Roof Technicianis responsible for the repair and maintenance of all rooftops on property.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of experience in the roofing trade preferred.
- Have verbal and written effective communication in the English language. v
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Must have the ability to maintain clean roof top areas.
- Must be able to schedule work with vendors.
- Have basic knowledge of working with hand and power tools, in establishing effective maintenance scheduling of all roof tops.
- Must have the ability to work around electrical and water and gas feed lines.
- Must maintain an orderly schedule of preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Must use all safety equipment as required.
- Maintain constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to shift supervisor immediately.
- Attend and successfully complete all training courses and requirements.
