Overview

The Systems Product Operations team manages special projects and program activities for product portfolios and the Systems organization through various cycles in development & engineering, internal testing, regulatory approval, delivery readiness, and support readiness. We provide cross-functional leadership and direction to manage risk and achieve readiness for the Systems product, delivery & sales portfolio in alignment with market strategy, as well as budget. We ensure cross-functional teams & products are ready to be deployed for our customers and players to enjoy. IGT is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated program manager who is ready to bring their effective communication, issue resolution, and leadership skills to work with global cross-functional teams on executing complex systems product strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Track major milestones and risks, portfolio-wide, for systems cross-functional teams

• Support project team with scope management as it relates to contracts, budget and product roadmaps

• Incorporate New Product Introduction (NPI) best practices for major releases or new product launches

• Lead solution implementation and close process gaps already identified by a cross-functional SME team

• Organize cross-functional activities and provide direction to achieve product and go-to-market readiness for the portfolio in alignment with product strategy

• Assist with risk mitigation for key deliveries

• Prepare and facilitate, or participate in, executive-level communications and reporting

• Serve as main Systems Product Operations team point of contact for Systems Services, Engineering and PMO, etc.

First Year Goals:

• Identify inefficiencies and streamline or close gaps related to product readiness and systems deliveries

• Understand IGT’s Casino Systems product portfolio, components of product, market specifications and their dependencies. Be up to date with recent development roadmaps of product components relevant to systems product.

• Become effectively familiar with the systems markets and key customers, their individual approval/acceptance processes, and their special product requirements and how these affect individual product components.

• Build strong relationships with product managers and key partners including, Systems Services, R&D, PMO, GOM, Sales, Compliance, Manufacturing & Operations, and the Product Marketing Management teams.

• Gain familiarity with Salesforce, SAP Systems, Confluence, & PPM.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience required

• PMI certification (preferred) or demonstrated equivalent experience required

• 5+ years of experience in program managing engineering/technical projects

• 2+ years of project or team lead experience

• Must have basic knowledge of the gaming industry and can leverage knowledge to identify needs and opportunities and develop in depth solutions; casino systems development and/or test knowledge and experience, including RFPs, is a plus

• Must be comfortable and effective in representing the internal team, Casino Systems product line and Company to internal and external executive-level stakeholders

• Must be able to convert current technologies into meaningful, understandable product solutions that are actionable

• Must be familiar with engineering disciplines such as software, systems, mechanical and electrical as well as program/project management techniques and methods

• Must have excellent communication, written and oral skills

• Must have strong MS Excel, MS Project and MS PowerPoint skills

• Experience with SAP, Confluence, Salesforce, or PPM is a plus

• Ability to effectively lead and influence both creative and technical teams

• Must be able to travel

• Overtime/flexible hours may be required

• Must be at least 21 years of age

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,177-$156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses.
