Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our client in Reno, Nevada. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for managing and executing all payroll-related functions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all payroll processes comply with federal and state laws. This role offers a contract-to-hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full-cycle processing of payroll

• Manage the creation and distribution of payroll reports as needed.

• Handle payroll adjustments

• Process employee changes including tax withholdings, direct deposits, and pay rates.

• Review payroll reports to confirm accuracy and address any discrepancies.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Benefit Functions

• Experience in Check Processing

• Knowledge of ADP - Payroll
