SUMMARY:
TheHood and Duct Technicianis responsible for the repair and maintenance of the hood and duct systems of the property.
MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
- Experience in basic plumbing, electrical and metal fabrication.
- Have verbal and written effective communication in the English language.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Must have the ability to maintain restaurant, kitchen hood and duct work.
- Have basic knowledge of working with hand and power tools, in establishing effective maintenance scheduling of all equipment, the installation of new equipment, and in ensuring the reliability of backup equipment for emergency use.
- Must have the ability to work around electrical and water and gas feed lines.
- Must maintain an orderly schedule of preventative maintenance throughout the property.
- Responsible for responding promptly to the companys needs and requests with the goal of attaining or assisting with the resolution.
- Maintain constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to shift supervisor immediately.
- Attend and successfully complete all training courses and requirements.
- Supports the company culture expectation on delivering 4 diamond service.
- Adherence to all departmental and company policies, including but not limited to the code of conduct and the attendance and appearance policies.
