Do you have an interest in analytics? Are well versed in EPIC and enjoy reporting? Join ROC as a EPIC Analyst - Cogito! This position will remain posted until filled.

You would be the support to our whole team for all reporting in Cogito. You could help various members of the ROC Organization with reporting as well as meeting organizational needs. Your attention to detail and knowledge of EPIC will allow you to support your ROC team effectively. You are essential to facilitating comprehensive use of the EPIC system.

ROC is expanding with two more operating suites opening the beginning of 2025 as we welcome seven new surgeons to our team. Join our team to be part of the growth and excitement!

What would you do as a EPIC Analyst - Cogito?

The EPIC Analyst - Cogito is responsible for using the Cogito system and reporting. You can expect to regularly:

• Design and develop Cogito reports based on requirements gathered from stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and adherence to organizational standards;

• Collaborate with end-users, including clinicians, administrators, and executives, to optimize existing reports and create new reports that meet evolving organizational needs;

• Perform rigorous testing and validation of Cogito reports to ensure data integrity and reliability, troubleshooting issues as they arise;

• Provide training and ongoing support to end-users on how to effectively utilize Cogito reports for decision-making and operational purposes;

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of report specifications, data sources, and methodologies for future reference and auditing purposes.

Requirements

Certifications/Educations:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field OR equivalent experience in a similar role with High School Diploma/GED;

• Epic Cogito, Ambulatory, Cadence, or Professional Billing (PB) Admin Certifications;

Experience:

• One year as an Epic Analyst using one of the following certifications: Epic Cogito, Ambulatory, Cadence, or Professional Billing (PB).

Note: This position requires the following certifications to be completed within six (6) months (if not completed at time of hire) and must be maintained once completed:

• Cogito Fundamentals

• Cogito Tools Administration

• Access Data Model Certification

• Clinical Data Model Certification

• Revenue Data Model Certification

• Radar SQL Metrics, SlicerDicer Custom Build, and Cogito SQ

Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants?

• Proficiency in SQL and/or other querying languages

Work Environment

This position is for our main location in downtown Reno and would work 40 hours a week.
