SAIC Product Manager Commercial and Classified Products in REMOTE WORK, Virginia

Description

SAIC is seeking a seasoned Product Manager with a robust background in dual-use technology products that serve both commercial and classified sectors on a global scale. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, demonstrating a track record of successful product lifecycle management, strategic planning, and execution. The role requires proficiency in the use of product management tools such as JIRA and AHA! to effectively manage our diverse portfolio of products. This position will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-quality products that meet both commercial and governmental regulatory standards. This position is Remote.

Responsibilities:

· Lead the strategic planning, development, and execution of dual-use commercial/classified products for global markets.

· Translate complex technical and market requirements into actionable roadmaps and product specifications.

· Manage the product lifecycle from concept through launch, and continuing with ongoing support and enhancements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and support, to ensure successful product outcomes.

· Utilize JIRA to track product development progress and ensure alignment with agile methodologies.

· Employ AHA! for roadmap planning and strategy visualization to effectively communicate product vision to stakeholders and team members.

· Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer surveys to inform product strategy and positioning.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for classified products, maintaining the integrity and security of sensitive information.

· Develop metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and make data-driven decisions.

· Provide hands-on product expertise and support for key customers and strategic partners.

· Articulate and present product strategies, roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership.

· Act as the product evangelist both internally and externally, demonstrating thought leadership in dual-use technology spaces.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

· Minimum 9 years of product management experience, preferably with dual-use technology products.

· Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.

· Demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and AHA!.

· Strong understanding of the global dual-use technology market, including regulatory environments and compliance requirements for classified products.

· Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

· Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

· Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience in international product management and understanding of cultural sensitivities.

· Familiarity with the specific challenges and best practices of managing products that are subject to export controls.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
