Atlassian Administrator GPO/HQ/Remote
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Jira/Confluence administrator/specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of duties including designing, researching, prototyping, building new and supporting existing products. Strong candidates will have a desire to drive change. The chosen administrator/specialist will collaborate with business stakeholders and team engineers and analysts on various projects, using in-depth knowledge of the latest development standards and existing engineering methodologies to lead the way. In addition to being a good communicator, all candidates should be creative thinkers with excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on simplicity and scalability as foundational perspectives.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
Configuring, maintaining, administering, and enhancing JIRA Core, JIRA Software, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence, other key components and add-ons
Create and maintain custom workflows, fields, screen schemes, dashboards, metrics, reports, permission schemes and notification schemes to meet business needs
Triages and resolve administrative requests and enhancements
Supports business strategy by supporting and enabling tooling and process integration
Help guide and maintain the organization of data in Confluence
Analyze, review, and document current functionality to determine potential areas of improvement.
Analyze requests for new Atlassian product functionality, implement new features, triage incoming support requests and handle or route appropriately
Provide support and training as needed to Atlassian stakeholders
Work with CSOC teams to Build/Optimize/Streamline new and existing processes with technical solutions
Skills and Requirements we are looking for:
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Exceptional understanding managing all aspects of Jira and Confluence
Experience with website development, using current industry standard languages and techniques common to Atlassian (such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, and jQuery)
Practical scripting skills, e.g. Powershell, Python , Bash, Groovy script
Ability to develop custom scripts for use with Atlassian Add-ons
Identify, test and provide recommendations for using new plugins to meet project requirements
Integrate Atlassian products into other solutions (directly or indirectly).
Create, test, and deploy integrations between assigned applications
Implementing 3rd party add-ons
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent documentation skills and procedural development capabilities are a core requirement.
Provide, informal training, and support for JIRA and Confluence, as needed
Collaborates with stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects and enhancements
Ability Perform basic Linux and Windows Server administration tasks as assigned and in service to assigned applications such as the Atlassian product suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
Understanding of Agile principles (Scrum/Kanban).
